According to this premise, spectatorship is a gendered activity, and any depiction of the female form is, thus, inescapably compromised.
What emerged from this new understanding of the scopic gaze was a profound suspicion of visual pleasure. The only acceptable images
of women were those that owned this truth and presented it back to the viewer through parodic representation.

Haiku: an unrhymed Japanese poem of three lines containing 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively, traditionally examining the seasons
of Nature; also: a poem written in the haiku form or a modification of it but in a language other than Japanese. Urban Haiku: a modification
which encourages a slow, luxurious reading pace through minimal punctuation; only the occasional comma, question mark, and quotation mark
have been used; capitalization was applied only when reverence for the subject allowed no reasonable alternative; without these visual clues
to guide the eye, structure requires... contemplation, which is of course, the whole idea; all works on this site extracted from Urban Haiku
